When?
The snow will move in around 7pm tomorrow and will peak in intensity from 9pm to 2am. The snow will taper off around 11am-noon Wednesday. During the peak intensity, snowfall rates of 1-3" per hour will be possible and this could cause roads to become hazardous and possibly impassable.
How Much?
6-10" with local amounts up to 12" possible (mainly north and west of Columbus) along with a tenth of an inch of ice (mainly south of Columbus).
Who Gets What?
NW Ohio= 4-8"
NE Ohio= 7-11"+
SW Ohio= 2-4" with .1"-.25" of ice
SE Ohio = less than an inch with flooding rains
Central Ohio= 6-10"+ with ~ .1" of ice
Impacts
Very hazardous road conditions, especially over night tomorrow night and for the morning commute Wednesday. The snow could be very heavy and wet, which will make it harder to shovel.
This will likely be the heaviest snowfall in over a year and will result in major impacts.
Many schools will probably be using up another snow day for Wednesday.
