Heavy Rain Potential

Rounds of Showers and Storms

Between now and Sunday, the Buckeye State is going to see several rounds of heavy rain. The models are not in full agreement just yet, but some suggest the first round of heavy rain could be  coming by tomorrow morning. Some models also develop additional storms tomorrow afternoon with more heavy rain. If those models are correct, it could set us up for a more serious situation as the ground would become saturated and rivers and creeks would become elevated in advance of another storm system. The models are in pretty good agreement about a fairly potent low pressure system moving in on Saturday and slowly move out on Sunday. This could provide a widespread 1-3" of rain to much of the State. We will have to monitor this potential as we go forward as flooding could become a real concern. Stay tuned for updates.
