Heavy Snow
Another snow storm will be impacting the Buckeye State once again! This time southern and eastern Ohio will be in the bullseye for heaviest snowfall. These areas will see 8-12" of snow through Thursday morning. This snow will likely start out as a heavy wet snow (like white concrete) that could weight down trees and power lines. It should transition to a lighter snow as temperatures fall into the 20's. The snowfall gradient will be sharp over a short distance, resulting in a difficult forecast for those living near I-71.
Flooding
Heavy rain will fall before this heavy snow and with a melting snow pack, flooding of low-lying and poorly drained areas is likely. Watch for ponding on roadways and possible basement flooding issues.
Here is my current thinking on snow totals
